Apivich Hemachandra is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Manufacturing Systems and Automation (M3S) Group, Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). 

His research interests include data-efficient physics-informed machine learning and resource-efficient training of large language models. His work focuses on applying machine learning and Bayesian optimisation to improve the efficiency of AI model training, including training parallelisation, model architecture, and data selection.
