Yuliang Liufu is an incoming PhD student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where he will join the CRML to further his research in robotics and intelligent systems. 

He received his Master's degree in Robotics from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2025, where he conducted research in the Soft Robotics Lab under the supervision of Prof. Cecilia Laschi.

During his time in Singapore, Yuliang also served as a research intern at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology (SMART), M3S, where he contributed to projects on soft robotic systems development and control. 

His research focuses on robotics learning-based control with sim-to-real transfer. His current work explores sensor-assisted learning-based control for soft robotic systems.
