Shantam is passionate about leveraging AI to solve real-world problems and drive innovation. His core expertise includes Generative AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and MLOps. He also particularly interested in Reinforcement Learning and Agentic AI, and I continue to deepen my knowledge in these areas through my coursework at NUS.

Shantam's professional journey includes over five years of experience as a Data Scientist, delivering advanced AI and machine learning solutions across industries such as Oil and Gas, Mining, Banking, Retail, and Telecommunications. 

During his time at World Wide Technology (WWT), he worked closely with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to design and implement innovative solutions for global clients.

Currently, he's a Research Intern at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART), where he developing an online meta-learning system for adaptive algorithm selection in contextual bandit settings.
