Dr. Yubin Liu serves as a postdoctoral associate at T7 (Human workers and resource allocation optimization) of the interdisciplinary research program Mens, Manus, and Machina (M3S) at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). His work focuses on developing optimization models and algorithms that are computationally efficient and scalable for solving operation problems in complex system, such as airport and urban freight transportation sector.
Dr. Yubin Liu received his Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from Imperial College London, UK. His Ph.D research direction focuses on performance optimization for urban last-mile distribution using autonomous vehicle fleets. He has published in multiple flagship journals & conferences in the transportation & logistics field, including Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems. He also received the ”Best Research Paper Award” at the 102nd Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting (TRBAM).
