Siny, Xingjian Zhang is a Master’s student at National University of Singapore (NUS) and a former research intern at the Singapore‑MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). He is expected to graduate in January 2026. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Automation at the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HIT SZ).

His primary research focus is on multi‑agent reinforcement learning, especially in the context of robotic motion and informative path planning. Under the supervision of Guillaume Sartoretti at the Multi‑Agent Robotic Motion (MARMot) Lab, he develops systems that enhance robotic perception and behavioral intelligence with the goal of producing reliable, deployable technologies that improve human labor.

Beyond robotics and machine learning, he is also a passionate music producer and mixing engineer, releasing music under the alias “Siny”. Beginning in 2026, he plans to promote his musical work more actively.
