Jie Gao earned her PhD in Information Systems Technology and Design from the Singapore University of Technology and Design in January 2024, under the supervision of Simon Perrault.

Jie Gao is working as a Postdoctoral Associate with the Mens, Manus, and Machina (M3S) team at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) since February 2024, collaborating with Prof. Thomas W. Malone.

Her research interests encompass Human-AI Collaboration, AI for Social Science, and AI for Software Engineering.
