Sohyeong Kim is a postdoctoral researcher at SMART, passionate about understanding human behavior in traffic data and developing data-driven solutions for smart mobility. 

She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from EPFL, where her research focused on UAV-based traffic monitoring and analysis, including traffic density estimation, parking lot monitoring, and lane change prediction using advanced deep learning models. 

Her work integrated image processing and time-series data analysis for intelligent transportation systems (ITS), enhancing the management of the systems.
