Haozhe Wang is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART), affiliated with the Mens, Manus and Machina (M3S) Interdisciplinary Research Group (IRG).
He received both his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and his B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) under the supervision of Professor Marcelo H. Ang Jr.
His research focuses on robotic grasping and manipulation in unstructured and cluttered environments, with a particular interest in hybrid soft–rigid robotic systems and human–robot collaboration. Haozhe has published in leading robotics conferences and journals, and his current work at SMART M3S explores embodied AI approaches for synergistic human–robot collaboration in complex environments.
