Fengkang Ying is currently working toward the Ph.D degree at NUS, under the supervision of Prof. Marcelo Ang. Since August 2023, he has been with the Integrative Sciences and Engineering Programme (ISEP), NUS, and the Advance Robobotics Centre, NUS. Since January 2025, he has been a Visiting Research Student with SMART (Singapore MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Centre, Singapore), M3S. 

His current research interests include robotics, task and motion planning, and reinforcement learning. He has been working at the intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence to facilitate versatile robots actively interact and collaborate with humans. He was the recipient of multiple awards, such as National First Award of China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition.
