Jack Klusmann is a Master’s student in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a visiting researcher at the Soft Robotics Lab, National University of Singapore (NUS).


Jack is spending six months as a visiting student at SMART, M3S, where he is assisting in research on soft manipulator kinematics and parameter identification under the supervision of Prof. Cecilia Laschi and Dr. Haozhe Wang. His work involves conducting experimental validation using a motion capture system to advance the understanding of soft robotic behavior.


His research focuses on integrating intelligent control and perception in soft robotics, exploring how embodied intelligence and adaptive algorithms can enhance robotic interaction and task performance. 


Passionate about bridging the gap between human-like adaptability and machine precision, Jack is dedicated to developing novel and practical solutions for real-world robotic applications.
