Juin Hwaye is a visiting PhD student in SMART M3S T2. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Advanced Robotics Centre, National University of Singapore (NUS), he is co-supervised by Prof. Marcelo Ang and Prof. Francis Tay.
A graduate of NUS with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Robotics - his research interests include soft robotics design, planning, and control.
His connection to SMART dates back to his pre-university studies, when he contributed to autonomous vehicle simulations under the Future Urban Mobility (FM) lab as part of the NUS Science Research Programme (SRP).
